a short history of dolphins in marine parade

Schools of dolphins used to swim and gather around Katong beach annually until 1966, when 1500 hectares of land was reclaimed to become the Marine Parade we know today. Nobody knew why the dolphins gathered in such huge numbers and very little was recorded of this phenomenon. The images portray the traces of the dolphins of Marine Parade through selected documents from various sources.
